Therapy
I believe we heal and grow most profoundly and meaningfully in connection with others. As a psychotherapist, it is my privilege to accompany individuals on their journeys of growth and transformation. I work with adults of all ages. Together we create a safe space to observe and explore, to strengthen inner connections, to heal, and to support change. Through compassionate and perceptive listening I work collaboratively with people to cultivate well-being and to improve self-regulation, to ease experiences of stress, trauma, loss, grief, depression and anxiety.
The integration of my training with my lived experience allows me to effectively support clients in their explorations. I am trained in trauma-informed mindfulness, resilience work, drama therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing, and mind-body integrative healing. My experiences as a bilingual immigrant to this country have attuned me to the many ways in which differences (gender, sexual, racial and cultural) from the larger culture can offer unique strengths and perspectives upon which we can build.
I offer in-person and virtual therapy through Santa Cruz Therapy Collective, a group practice that offers psychotherapy to adults and families.
I am an out-of-network provider, and most insurance companies will reimburse a portion of fees. I provide superbills so you can request reimbursement. For information about coverage, contact your insurance provider directly.

“What is the bravest thing you’ve ever said?” asked the boy.
Charlie Mackesy, The Boy, the Mole, the Fox and the Horse
“Help,” said the horse.
“Asking for help isn’t giving up,” said the horse. “It’s refusing to give up.“
